Not too far from the city center, clean rooms, very good value for the money.
Pleasant staff , Lovely breakfasts, Clean rooms, Comfortable beds.
Directions to other places could be a bit clearer at times.
The fact that the room looked good
Nice clean hotel, rooms look good (though they are a bit small), very good , relation price-quality, breakfast is ok, rooms at the last floor have big nice terraces.
Rooms a bit small, expensive parking (but you can find free parking on the streets nearby)
Nice new comfortable hotel with a big bed, bus stop in front, acceptable walking distance to the center, free WIFI, varied and big breakfast, nice personel
Room 110: the light in the bathroom was very heavy: I'd like a soft light better when I just woke up... There was some hair on the bathroom floor. The glass of one of the closet doors was broken. The smell in the bathroom wasn't that fresh.
Very nice, new hotel, with very comfortable rooms.
It was hard to find it for a first time, very small lifts ( for max.2), reception staff could be nicer.
it's an elegant and very clean hotel
Clean and comfortable - and the people at the reception were very helpful. Located a little bit outside the city center, but it only takes you 15 minutes to stroll in there.
The room was clean and comfortable and the member of staff we spoke to on the telephone when we were lost, looking for the hotel late at night, was extremely helpful.
The air-conditioning did not work and the member of staff at the desk did not seem concerned or prepared to give us a discount on the cost of our stay.
It's a 3 star hotel with better overall service than we had fromthe4 star we stayed in for the followingfew days.
While off the beaten track Zenit Malaga is a short bus ride away from the centre of the City for only 1.20 euro. The neighbourhood is clean, safe and has local cafes, including a churro bar on the fountain roundabout. A small supermarket is nearby and open until 21:15 with smaller "alimentacion" shops open much later close to hand. The Zenit restaurant serves a decent continental breakfast but the dinner options are very respectable and in some cases very good indeed. The waitresses for dinner were especially helpful and pleasant. Rooms on the 5th floor have balconies - mine was south facing with a sun lounger and was bigger than many hotel rooms in other establishments.
No facility to make hot drinks in the room.
It was a god hotel and the price was god. The breakfast was god, at it was realy god that everything was filed up again when we came down and there was nothing left. It was also god that we god picknic with us because we should fly at 6 am. The people in the reception was kindly. We said to each other that Zenith Malaga was a god hotel, at if we come back to Malaga we would use this hotel again. Parking was also god, and the people there was also kindly.
Very new, clean and proper designed hotel. Personal was friendly and helpful. Parking is free in the streets in the area, but it is hard to get a spot.
Location is about 15-20 minutes on foot of the city centre (Plaza de la Merced).
We stayed at this hotel for two weeks in September and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at it. The hotel's location is excellent: it's surrounded with shops and cafes, it is about 10 min walk from the historical center of Malaga, and approximately 15-20 min walk to the beach. The cleaning ladies were extremely nice and the room was clean to perfection every day. The room was very comfortable- the air con was in a perfect working condition, the 'bistro' fridge was cold and even big enough for us to have a large amount of munchies inside. The internet connection flawless! The interior was classy and rather new.
The only limitations were: lack of programs in English (only bbc news), and no blankets (only sheets provided). However, I'm sure that if I asked for a blanket, they would have provided me with one. Great , great value for money :)
Cheap and confortable rooms
The receptionist told me it is possible to park around but I spent 20 minutes at 4 o'clock in the morning driving in Malaga streets. Then the receptionist finally confessed that it is difficult to find parking area and the close parking nearby to 16 euro (expensive). Also noisy hotel in the morning. I can only recommend if you don't have a car to park.
